What makes you the most qualified candidate?: My 11 years on the Mint Hill Planning Board and 10 years serving as a Town Commissioner.

What regional issue do you believe most affects your municipality (such as crime, roads, schools, etc.) and what role do you believe your municipality can play in improving it?: We have a low crime rate but we do need many road improvements and our schools have become overcrowded. We will have to keep local and state governments aware of our needs.

Do you believe there could be better collaboration among the municipalities in Mecklenburg County? If so, what would you suggest to improve it?: I am pleased with what I have observed at the meetings I have attended over the past several years, we seem to share some of the same problems. I think the communication in good.
