List up to three (3) of your most important political/civic accomplishments in the last five (5) years. (150 word limit): -Proudly fought for and passed a Buy American bill to require Homeland Security to buy American, which will help bring back and save manufacturing jobs.
-Ending the antitrust exemption that health insurance companies enjoyed for 65 years, helping to make healthcare coverage more affordable.
-Securing million in funding for the Warrior in Transition Unit to assist our brave Wounded Warriors after they return, as well as their families.
What past experience do you have that best prepares you for this office? (150 word limit): I have represented this district in one of the toughest times in our history. I fought hard to pass Buy American legislation, mortgage modification legislation to help keep families in their homes, a financial services overhaul to protect consumers, and two Jobs bills to help save and create new jobs. I am proud to have helped provide a tax cut to 95% of all working families. I will continue to fight to protect working families.
What do you believe is the most important thing Congress should accomplish in the coming year? (200 word limit): We have to get our economy back on track.
